About

Me viewing scenery from my room, in Japan.

Hi, my name is Handoko.. a bit of an introduction, I graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia) for my undergraduate study (Engineering Physics) in 2009 and Osaka University (Japan) for my graduate study (Material Physics) in 2011.

Combining what had I known in physics, something wonderful led me into a world of joy and celebration, that life is something beautiful and joyful. That mark the start of my exploration in photography in the middle of 2010, when I decided to buy my first DSLR camera and develop my photography skill as a natural way to express & deliver the beauty of life, full of feelings and wonders, to others, to you.

There are many things in this blog, mainly about photography, but you’ll find other interesting things, such as my personal thoughts about life. So take your time and browse around.

You can talk to me in three languages >> Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), English, or Japanese (日本語), any-time, any-topic.  Here is my email address if you want to contact me personally :
email address of Handoko Luo

More over,  I can be a really good friend..
a friend for enjoying life, trough daily activities..
a friend for understanding life, through sharing..
a friend who can talk from heart to heart, fully open..
a friend who accept you for who you really are — regardless age/race/belief/etc..

it is safe to open yourself.. as authentic as you can be.. there’s no judgment..
.. there is wisdom.. there is compassion.. there is love..

*“To the vast majority of people a photograph is an image of something within their direct experience: a more-or-less factual reality. It is difficult for them to realize that the photograph can be the source of experience, as well as the reflection of spiritual awareness of the world and of self.” — Ansel Adams

*“The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.” – William Faulkne

understand things, you’ll be a clever man..
understand people, you’ll be a wise man..
understand yourself, you’ll be the enlightened one..
